Public Works Director Peter Clark presented the commission with answers to 40-plus questions submitted during a July 6 forum to discuss the feasibility of including the courthouse in the county’s long-term facilities master plan. “We wanted to make sure all of the questions were answered as factually as possible,” Clark said. Answers to the questions will be posted on the county’s website and will be made available through other outlets, he said. On a related matter, the commission scheduled a meeting with a committee to save the courthouse for 7 p.m. Aug. 29, in the Pott County Justice Center. The committee had requested a meeting in which commissioners and members could exchange ideas about the courthouse in a more informal setting.
