The Citizens for Courthouse Conservation have partnered with the Kansas Rural Communities Foundation (KRCF), a 502(c)(3) non-profit charitable corporation, to provide an efficient mechanism through which individuals, families, corporations, non-profit organizations, and private foundations can donate and support our mission.
Anyone can make a tax-deductible contribution through KRCF and receive the full tax benefit of giving to a 501(c)(3) charitable organization.
Your tax-deductible contribution of $10 or more provides you with a non-renewable membership in the Citizens for Courthouse Conservation organization whose mission is to promote solutions for conservation and restoration of the Historic Pottawatomie County Courthouse, in cooperation and communication with citizens and local leaders, and to educate citizens of the historical, aesthetic, and economic value this structure contributes to our community, our county and region.
The Citizens for Pottawatomie County Courthouse Fund has been created to provide public education on the value of saving the historic Pottawatomie County Courthouse, property owned and operated by the County of Pottawatomie in Westmoreland, Kansas. The fund will support potential conservation and restoration costs. In the event the Courthouse is demolished, funds raised will be equally disbursed to historical societies in Pottawatomie County.
There are two ways to contribute to the Citizens for Pottawatomie County Courthouse Fund: You can visit the Kansas Rural Community Foundation’s website to donate online, or you can print and mail your donation/membership for the Citizens for Pottawatomie County Courthouse Conservation fund to KRCF.
